FINANCIAL OVERSIGHT

Every gift makes a difference for our Library and our community. The Davenport Public Library Foundation takes great care to ensure that every donation is used exactly as our donors intend. We value your trust and keep all personal and financial information strictly confidential. Our Finance Committee provides careful oversight of the Foundation’s investments, working with Quad City Bank & Trust to manage funds responsibly and transparently for the long-term benefit of The Library. All gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
The Davenport Public Library Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization with the IRS and the State of Iowa. Tax ID: 42-1204594.

Donor Advised Funds
A donor-advised fund, or DAF, is a simple, flexible, and tax-friendly way to support your favorite charities. DAFs can be easily set up through many financial institutions or community foundations. If you already have an account, you can use the form below to name the Davenport Public Library Foundation as a beneficiary of your gift.

Individual Retirement Account
You can make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your IRA directly to the Davenport Public Library Foundation. Simply ask your IRA provider to make the distribution payable to the Davenport Public Library Foundation.

Planned Giving
Planned giving, or legacy giving, is a meaningful way to leave a lasting impact on The Library. By including the Foundation in your estate plans, you help ensure that The Library continues to serve the community for generations to come.

Bequests
A bequest is a simple and flexible way to support The Library’s future. Endowment Giving
An endowment gift is a powerful way to provide ongoing support for The Library. When you establish an endowment fund, the principal is invested, and only a portion of the earnings is used each year – ensuring your gift makes an impact forever.
